Paoletti Named MacGeorge Fellow at U. Melbourne

John Paoletti, the Kenan Professor of the Humanities, professor of art history, emeritus will be the MacGeorge Fellow at the University of Melbourne in November and December 2010, a position that involves lecturing and teaching at the university, located in Victoria, Australia.

Paoletti recently lectured on Michelangelo’s David at Notre Dame and Rutgers and on Medici patronage at the Metropolitan Museum. He was the guest of the Medieval and Early Modern Seminar at Stanford in January, and in mid-February, he will be a speaker in a three-day international symposium at the Victoria and Albert Museum celebrating the reinstallation of their medieval and renaissance collections.
