John Biddiscombe, director of athletics and chair of the Physical Education Department, inducted former coach Terry Jackson into the fourth class of the Athletics Hall of Fame Oct. 23 as part of Homecoming/ Family Weekend activities. Terry Jackson won more games as Wesleyan’s head men’s soccer coach over 31 years (1968-98) than any other soccer coach at the university. He also served as Wesleyan’s head men’s lacrosse coach for 23 seasons (1974-96). Wesleyan’s Jackson Field, the home of both men’s soccer and lacrosse, was named in Terry’s honor on Oct. 21, 2006.
