More than 110 students enrolled in the hands-on course Applied Data Analysis (QAC 201) presented research at the Quantitative Analysis Center's Student Poster Session on Dec. 12 in Beckham Hall. The poster session served as the course's final exam. More than 35 guests who use and teach applied statistics, attended the Quantitative Analysis Center's Student Poster Session to speak with students and judge the posters. Students learned about the various opportunities in graduate studies from representatives in a wide range of disciplines. Wesleyan hosted its first Campus Sustainability Day on Oct. 24. CSD is a national event that began in 2002 to bring awareness to campus sustainability projects and encourage students to take action. This year, in conjunction with the Farmers’ Market, many Wesleyan student groups and the Sustainability Office set up tables outside Usdan University Center to share their recent projects with the campus community.
