Lauren Caldwell, assistant professor of classical studies, will teach Latin and a course on Vergil's Aeneid next fall.   Posted 07/06/06 Lauren Caldwell was hired as an assistant professor of classical studies on July 1. Caldwell has an A.B. in Classics from Princeton University and received her M.A. and Ph.D from the University of Michigan. Her research interests are Roman social history, Latin literature, Roman law and ancient medicine. Strong support for the faculty's scholarly and pedagogical goals attracted Caldwell to Wesleyan.
