As we begin a semester with aspiration and joy, we also want to take a moment to reflect on the waves of loss that have afflicted many in our community. They can also be a time of stress, sadness, and loneliness. Over the next six weeks, we won’t see as much of each other as we normally do. Dr. Larry Antosz, a psychotherapist with Wesleyan's Counseling and Psychological Services, spoke to parents about children's needs at the Cobb School, Montessori in Simsbury, Conn. on Jan. 24. Dr. Antosz joined Paul Assaiante, squash coach and author from Trinity College, and John Kniering, director of career services at the University of Hartford, to encourage parents to "guide your children, then let them fly." Q: Jennifer, you will be appointed the new director of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) on July 1. How do you describe your new role?
