A study headed by James Greenwood, research associate professor of earth and environmental sciences, found evidence from the moon rocks collected by Apollo 11 astronauts that lunar water not only exists, it likely came from comets. The findings were published in the journal Nature Geoscience and reported by UPI, ABC News, Scientific American, and Yahoo News, among others.
