Wesleyan pre-frosh Manon LeFevre '14, a senior at Cromwell High School, organized a drive with the Parks and Recreation Department to collect old sneakers. The collection drive, which is sponsored by the high school‘s Environmental Club, took advantage of a "Reuse-A-Shoe" program developed by Nike. The village I grew up in, on the outskirts of Cambridge, England, was an international community composed of families affiliated with the university.
