Richard S. Slotkin, Olin Professor of English, Emeritus, has been elected a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. It is the most prestigious academic honorary society in the nation and its current membership includes more than 250 Nobel laureates and more than 60 Pulitzer Prize winners.
