Campus Tours Ongoing Throughout Summer

The Office of Admission hosts student-led campus tours throughout the summer Monday through Friday at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at noon.

Senior Citizens Tour, Learn About Wesleyan

More than 80 senior citizens from the Middlesex Institute for Lifelong Education (MILE) visited campus Oct. 10 for a day-long program about the history of Wesleyan University.  The event included lectures, gallery visits, an organ concert and a self-guided campus tour.

More than 80 senior citizens from the Middlesex Institute for Lifelong Education (MILE) visited campus Oct. 10 for a day-long program about the history of Wesleyan University. The event included lectures, gallery visits, an organ concert and a self-guided campus tour.

Valerie Gillispie, assistant university archivist, speaks to the MILE guests about the architectural history of Wesleyan in the Center for Film Studies. Suzy Taraba, university archivist and head of special collections, spoke about the history of Wesleyan and Middletown. Both talks concluded with a question and answer session.
