Girl Talk Performance Raises $30K for Financial Aid

Girl Talk — Mash-up artist and disk jockey Gregg Gillis, known as Girl Talk, performed at the Bacon Field House Dec. 6. Proceeds from the event totaling $30,000 will benefit financial aid.

Tickets were sold for $5 each and sold out within 3 hours. The revenue generated was matched by the Wesleyan Student Asembly (WSA) and that combined total was matched again by an outside donor.

Only Wesleyan students were invited to the Girl Talk concert.
