Students Raise $14,200 for Local Food Pantry at Fast-a-Thon

The Interfaith Justice League sponsored the fourth-annual Fast-a-Thon Sept. 30 in Beckham Hall. Fasting students celebrated at the end of the day with a Ramadan banquet.

Students agreed to fast for the day, and donate their unused meals or student meal points to Middletown’s soup kitchen, Amazing Grace Food Pantry.
Students received a Fast-a-Thon T-shirt for participating.
More than 1,000 students participated, raising $14,200 for the food pantry. (Photos by Emily Brackman '11)
