The conference provides a space for students, student groups, community members, alumni, faculty and staff to discuss social justice and to learn and refine leadership skills. Vivian Nixon and Glenn Martin speak on “Pell Grant Ineligibility and Incarcerated Students: Good Politics, Bad Policy?” at the conference. Nixon and Martin are from The Fortune Society, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to the successful reentry and reintegration of individuals with criminal records. Natalie Holder-Winfield is an employment lawyer to who creates innovative sexual harassment prevention and diversity training programs based on the latest workplace trends.
