Mueenuddin’s first story collection, "In Other Rooms, Other Wonders," was 2010 winner of The Story Prize and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award. His stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Granta, and other periodicals and in Best American Short Stories 2008 (selected by Salman Rushdie) and PEN/O. Henry Prize Stories 2010. Anne Greene, director of writing programs, adjunct professor of English, introduces the guest author. Mueenuddin's visit was part of the Writing at Wesleyan's Russell House Series for Prose and Poetry. Following his talk, Mueenuddin spoke with students and signed copies of his books.
