Authors, Publishers Teach Seminars at Wesleyan Writers Conference

Wesleyan hosted the 56th Annual Wesleyan Writers Conference June 14-17 on campus.
Author and poet Honor Moore led a poetry seminar on June 14. Moore is the author of three collections of poems. Her recent book, "The Bishop’s Daughter," was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.

Author Lis Harris, a faculty member at the Wesleyan Writers Conference, speaks to conference participant Morton Goldberg on June 15. Harris is working on a book about three generations of a Palestinian family and three generations of an Israeli family. As a staff writer at The New Yorker for more than two decades, she wrote on a wide range of social and cultural matters, and she has received awards from the Woodrow Wilson, Rockefeller, and J. M. Kaplan foundations. She teaches in the graduate writing program at Columbia University.
