The topic this year was “Women of Color at Wesleyan.” Pictured in center, Interim Chief Diversity Officer Marina Melendez ’83 MALS ’88 moderated the panel consisting of Simone White ’93, Maria Santana-Guadalupe ’98, Saeyun Lee ’93 and Joyce Hall ’78. This symposium complemented a year-long programming initiative featuring women, their accomplishments, and their influence on the Wesleyan community and the world at large. The women responded to questions about their experiences as women of color at Wesleyan and afterward.
