Faculty Speak to Students about Romance Languages and Literatures Department
The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures (RL&L) hosted an open house Oct. 12.
Several faculty met with current and prospective students to talk about the department, majors and concentrations.
RL&L is a cornerstone of the Humanities at Wesleyan and the university’s gateway to the French-, Italian-, Portuguese-, and Spanish-speaking worlds.
The department represents literary and cultural traditions that extend from the Middle Ages to the present. Faculty teach languages, literatures and cultures that span Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Romance languages and literatures majors develop and apply their knowledge and skills through the extracurricular activities and study abroad opportunities.
